Most students in LLPS are encouraged to participate in these events.

Scale Olympics

This event occurs during even-numbered years.

Students prepare a variety of technical exercises upon which to be evaluated.

Preparation for this event takes place throughout the summer months, and students generally show a significant improvement in their technique and knowledge of how to apply it to their repertoire and theory study.
