Ledger Lines Piano Studio is a high-caliber piano studio in Columbus, Ohio. Students of all ages are welcome, from complete beginners to the musically advanced!
Dr. Timothy Ledger has more than a decade of experience teaching piano privately and in higher education. Some of his students have garnered prizes in competitions and festivals, while others have rediscovered their love of playing the piano later in life. He also stays active as a performer, adjudicator, and learner, always refining his own skills to bring that expertise to you.
Piano lessons take place individually and feature technical development, repertoire building (learning pieces), and theory instruction. Dr. Tim also organizes studio classes, which take place as a group, and he encourages students to participate in chamber music with friends who play other instruments or with other pianists in the studio.
You can take advantage of many performance opportunities, too, including studio recitals, community outreach, evaluated performances, examinations, and competitions. Remember—music is meant to be shared!
